Job Title:
Registered Nurse (RN) - School Setting

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality healthcare services in a school setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient assessment, care planning, and medication administration.

The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating, monitoring, and recording the health of students, as well as making referrals to appropriate resources when necessary.

This position requires excellent communication skills, independent decision-making, and a professional demeanor.

Key Responsibilities:


Provide primary healthcare and nursing interventions based on standing medical orders and clinical protocols, including student assessments, care, and referrals.

Administer medication to students, ensuring proper documentation and monitoring for side effects after obtaining parental permission and doctor's orders.
Maintain accurate student health records and adhere to precise documentation protocols.

Assess and treat health issues presented at the health center and make referrals to school resources as necessary, including counseling services.

Collect information for state health reports as required.
Communicate regularly with parents, faculty, and administration, demonstrating tact, discretion, and sensitivity.
Collaborate with other Health Center staff to assess, plan, and implement patient care plans.
Be available to report to the Health Center within 1 hour during scheduled on-call hours.
Attend in-service sessions, department meetings, and staff meetings as needed.

Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of Registered Nurse (RN) experience -REQUIRED
Experience working in a school setting -Preferred
