About the Role

Essity North America Health and Medical Solutions is seeking a Controller to lead the senior leadership team through various financial controls, annual budgeting, and quarterly forecasting. As a business partner, you will drive financial decision-making and provide strategic insights to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure accurate cost accounting and lead decisions on cost management.
  • Evaluate local plant financial performance and provide insight to management.
  • Manage capital assets effectively and continuously analyze and report deviations in financial results.
  • Drive and steer the period closing process, ensuring consistency and quality of reporting.
  • Provide input to Supply Chain North America Strategic Plan and execute Annual Budget Process.
  • Support and drive follow-up actions to improve financial results and provide financial expertise to drive Business Cases.
  • Ensure accurate financial control, including external and internal controls.
  • Develop and execute quarterly financial forecast process and assess business objectives fulfillment.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, and/or Economics required; Master's preferred.
  • Minimum 5+ years of relevant manufacturing experience required; 3+ years of experience as a finance controller required.
  • Advanced Excel Skills, Sage100, SAP, and Business Warehouse, and Data Warehouse/Database tools preferred.
  • Leadership, Reliability, and Integrity; Ability to Prioritize; Demonstrated Decision Making Abilities; Presentation Skills; Interpersonal Savvy; Dealing with Ambiguity; Strategic Agility; Problem Solving; Minimal travel required - 10%.
