Manchester, Connecticut, United States Pursuit Aerospace Full time
Job Description

We are seeking a strategic HR leader to partner with the Executive Vice President Operations and provide senior leadership to the HR function for manufacturing facilities in New England, Illinois, Arizona, Canada, and Mexico. The successful candidate will focus on fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring we are attracting, developing, and retaining the right talent and providing a supportive and engaging employee experience.

Pursuit Aerospace is a global manufacturer of complex aircraft engine components that are developed through highly integrated processes. Our exceptional quality is driven by a deep investment in and the daily practice of continually improving our people, processes, and products. At Pursuit, we are committed to excellence and continuous improvement.

This is a full-time exempt position reporting to the Vice President of Human Resources and can be located in either Massachusetts or Connecticut with a hybrid schedule of on-site presence at a Pursuit facility when not on business travel.

We are looking for an HR leader who believes in servant leadership, investing in people, creating processes, and always pursuing better through continuous improvement.

In this role, you will serve as a trusted partner to the Executive Vice President and other leaders on a variety of HR and business-related issues, both strategic and operational, to achieve desired financial results for the company while driving an aligned talent and people strategy.

You will teach, manage, coach, and support a high-performing site HR team through tactical and strategic objectives and challenges; often by working in a hands-on manner with the HR teams on the ground at the manufacturing sites.

You will ensure your sites are operating compliantly with regards to labor law and best practices.

You will collaborate to establish well-performing HR practices that meet key performance indicators, particularly in the areas of talent acquisition/pipelines, employee engagement, and retention.

You will seek to build deep and collaborative relationships with a service mindset around supporting the Executive Vice President and their staff, including general managers and functional leaders as internal customers.

You will drive improvements in division-wide and cross-company talent planning initiatives including workforce planning, performance management, succession planning, leadership development, engagement, and inclusion.

You will create standard work/processes and participate in continuous improvement (kaizen) initiatives across the company.

You will continually assess the effectiveness of the organizational structure and lead efforts to realign/refocus as needed.

You will provide executive coaching and development to senior leaders.

You will drive an effective reward and recognition strategy that reinforces Pursuit culture and values.

You will use data to develop and implement measurement systems to determine the impact of HR programs.

You will provide coaching and consultation on employee relations issues.

You will support acquisition due diligence and integration efforts.

You will work closely with the site HR teams to monitor the pulse of our employees to ensure a high level of engagement.

Your voice will be heard loud and clear amongst the leadership team; you will deliver results, and you will love it.

We are an equal opportunity employer and welcome applications from diverse candidates.

Pursuit Aerospace is an equal opportunity employer and complies with applicable state and local laws governing nondiscrimination in employment in every location in which the company has facilities.
