- Develop and implement effective patient care plans, ensuring that patients receive the best possible care and outcomes.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
- Conduct regular rounds to ensure that patients are receiving the best possible care and to identify any areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient satisfaction and outcomes, including the development of quality improvement initiatives and the implementation of evidence-based practices.
- Provide education and training to nursing staff, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge necessary to provide high-quality patient care.
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives, including the collection and analysis of data to identify areas for improvement and the development of strategies to address these areas.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure that patient care is coordinated and effective, including the development of care plans and the implementation of discharge planning.
- Current Alabama RN license required.
- One (1) year of experience as a registered nurse required.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or Healthcare related field preferred.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider training required.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent interruptions and deadlines. The Nursing Team Leader must be able to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals, and must be able to work effectively in a team environment. The position also requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods of time, and move quickly and safely in emergency situations.
