Caregiver - Memory Care

Are you passionate about providing exceptional care and support to seniors with memory impairments? Do you have a compassionate and empathetic approach to caregiving? We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Caregiver to join our team at The Auberge at Cedar Park community in Cedar Park, Texas.

About the Role:

  • Assist with all aspects of resident care, including personal care, medication management, and activities of daily living.
  • Maintain confidentiality and respect the privacy of residents and their families.
  • Notify the Resident Care Coordinator or Executive Director of any changes in a resident's condition.
  • Assist with meal service, including setup, taking orders, serving, and busing tables.
  • Participate in activities and events, and assist with getting residents to scheduled appointments.
  • Be aware of changes in a resident's condition and report them to the Medication Aide or Resident Care Coordinator immediately.
  • Take accurate vital signs and weights, and assist with lifting requirements up to 40 pounds.
  • Stay current on First Aid and CPR training as directed by the Resident Care Coordinator.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or management staff.

Requirements:

  • High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
  • Proficiency in English required.
  • Familiarity and willingness to work with the elderly population, with previous experience preferred but not necessary.
  • Attend and participate in scheduled mandatory in-services and meetings.
  • Receive and maintain CPR/First Aid certification.
