Executive Chef Position for Resort Luxury Club

The Landings Golf and Athletic Club is a private, luxury residential club located on Skidaway Island, catering to members seeking an active lifestyle through top-notch amenities.

As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing orders according to standard recipes in a timely and professional manner. You will also maintain the cleanliness of workstations, kitchen areas, walk-in coolers, and freezers.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Process food orders from dining rooms and/or managers, ensuring accurate preparation and coordination.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to prepare menu items according to standard recipes.
  • Maintain inventory levels, controlling waste by optimizing rotation, storage, and production.
  • Perform tasks related to food safety, adhering to company protocols.
  • Communicate effectively with the Club Chef or Sous Chef regarding shift-related challenges.
  • Contribute to team efforts by providing support during breaks and maintaining uniform standards.
  • Work varying shifts, including nights, to ensure adequate staffing.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of one year of experience in food production is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of food production techniques and familiarity with standard recipes are essential.
  • Prior experience in recommending, serving, and understanding food recipes is highly recommended.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions, handle diverse workloads, prioritize tasks, and delegate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly organized, able to multitask, and deploy resources efficiently.
  • Strong service orientation, leadership potential, and physical stamina required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Lifting, carrying, or moving objects weighing up to 50 pounds for extended periods.
  • Pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, and upward reaching frequently throughout the shift.
