Job Summary

We are seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our clinical team members in providing high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Protect patients from injury by removing extraneous objects and ensuring a safe environment.
  • Assist with patient transfers, maintain patient normothermia, and promote patient dignity and privacy.
  • Monitor vital signs, recognize emergencies, and notify the RN as needed.
  • Document episodes of care accurately, timely, and completely.
  • Participate in quality review and performance improvement projects.
  • Collaborate with the team to provide age-specific, culturally competent care.
Requirements
  • High School Graduate or equivalent.
  • One year of Medical Assistant/Nursing Assistant/Patient Care Tech experience preferred.
  • Certified Medical Assistant (MA)/Nursing Assistant (CNA)/Patient Care (PCT) preferred.
  • Successful completion of BCLS Course within 90 days of employment or documentation of current BCLS certification.
What We Offer

Competitive hourly rate of $18.00-$23.00, depending on experience.
