Position: Medication Aide - Float
Employment Type: Part-Time Opportunities Available
Shift: Flexible, to be discussed during the interview
Compensation: To be determined during the interview
Benefits: Employee medical benefits starting at $17.50 per pay period for full-time staff.
Location: Various locations, as this is a float position.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide care for residents and assist in the modification of each resident's service plan.
- Administer medications as prescribed by the attending physician, following the guidance of the DHS and adhering to established policies and procedures.
- Respond promptly to resident calls and emergencies, offering first aid assistance when necessary.
- Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and eating.
- Support caregivers in providing care to residents as needed.
- Document and communicate any changes in resident conditions, ensuring all reports are completed in a timely manner.
- Maintain confidentiality of resident care in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- First Aid & CPR Certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
- A minimum of one year of experience in a healthcare environment is required.
- CMA certification is preferred.
- Food Handlers Card must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
- Experience and knowledge in caring for and interacting with elderly individuals.
