Schedule: 10 Days on, 4 Days off

Position Overview:
As a Mobile Clinical Nutrition Specialist, you will travel to various healthcare facilities nationwide, overseeing the complete spectrum of meal service, medical nutrition therapy, and adherence to regulatory standards. Your role will involve providing operational support and training to staff, managing dietary orders, and ensuring compliance with clinical nutrition policies. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to uphold high standards of care and meet the nutritional needs of patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, train, and mentor registered dietitians and dietetic technicians.
  • Conduct daily evaluations and competency assessments, providing guidance and support to team members.
  • Act as a representative for the food and nutrition department as needed.
  • Lead the clinical team in enhancing patient satisfaction.
  • Verify the accuracy of dietary and supplement orders in medical records.
  • Perform clinical chart audits in line with corporate policies.
  • Assist facility RDs in completing nutritional assessments and follow-ups in accordance with state and regulatory guidelines.
  • Educate patients, families, nursing staff, and food service personnel on nutritional requirements.
  • Comply with facility policies and procedures, including confidentiality and patient rights.

Qualifications:
  • Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) with Commission on Dietetic Registration and Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist (LDN), or Certified Dietitian Nutritionist (CDN), as required by state regulations (RD-eligible candidates considered).
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Food and Nutrition or a related discipline.
  • Familiarity with regulatory standards.
  • Proficient in computer applications, including word processing and spreadsheets.
  • Willingness to travel extensively.
