Job Summary

We're hiring PRN LPNs at The Village at Utz Terrace in Hanover, PA. As a Nursing Care Specialist, you'll play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our team.

Responsibilities
  • Admit, transfer, and discharge residents in accordance with Agency standards and physician orders.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive resident information; chart progress notes on all residents in a descriptive manner.
  • Provide emergency response/care to residents in the skilled care center and within the retirement community.
  • Prepare and administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician using current, accepted standards of nursing practice and quality assurance.
  • Administer skilled services; assist with physician visits, physical examinations, and chart reviews; provide direct nursing care as needed.

Requirements

To be successful as a Nursing Care Specialist, you'll need:

  • A current unencumbered LPN license in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
  • Proficient interpersonal relations and communicative skills.
  • Proficient decision-making skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of current Department of Health regulations.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Demonstrated supervisory skills.

No LPN experience is needed, and new graduates are welcome to apply.

Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $25-$35 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
