About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nursing Care Specialist to join our team in the Emergency Department at UPMC. As a key member of our care delivery team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and collaborating with our multidisciplinary team to achieve desired patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care and education to patients and families, utilizing evidence-based practice and relationship-based care principles.
  • Develop and maintain productive working relationships internally and externally by demonstrating accountability for actions, enthusiasm, motivation, and commitment to patients and colleagues.
  • Actively participate in unit-based shared governance, goal setting, and supports the change and transition process to improve quality of care and the practice environment.
Requirements
  • Curent licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse in practicing state.
  • UPMC approved nursing certification preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience.
Estimated Salary

$75,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience.
