Job Description: HR Generalist

The People team focuses on seamless support for employees and internal stakeholders in North America. The HR Generalist will play a key role in providing day-to-day HR support, managing HRIS records, ensuring compliance, and assisting with employee programs.

This position requires a passion for creating positive employee experiences with emphasis on data integrity. There are opportunities for growth and development for the right individual.

Key Responsibilities
  • Employee Lifecycle Support: Assist with all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, records management, compensation changes, and internal transfers and offboarding.
  • HR Escalations: Serve as the primary contact for employee HR issues, addressing concerns promptly and escalating to the SME when necessary.
  • Technology Optimization: Support the implementation, maintenance, and improvement of People tools, such as BambooHR and people systems, ensuring accurate data entry and reporting.
  • Employee Engagement & Culture: Collaborate with the People team to operationalize initiatives like employee engagement and company culture.
  • HR Compliance: Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies by maintaining up-to-date employee records and assisting with audits.
  • Reporting: Assist with aggregating, preparing, and maintaining HR metrics, reports, and analysis of key performance indicators, such as employee turnover, engagement, and performance metrics.
  • HR Point of Contact: Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries related to HR policies, benefits, system navigation, and procedures.
  • HR Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline HR processes for increased efficiency and improved employee experience.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least 4 years of professional human resources work experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Calendar, and Sharepoint.
  • Experience with an HRIS system, ADP, and BambooHR preferred.
  • A process improvement mindset is highly valued.
  • Ability to operate with attention to detail, multitask, and collaborate.
Salary and Benefits
