About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Director of Nursing to join our team at Magnolia Ridge Center in Gardendale, AL. As a key member of our nursing leadership team, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and achieving positive clinical outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to develop and implement effective nursing strategies and policies.
  • Provide clinical operational leadership and support to nursing units, ensuring compliance with Genesis policies and procedures, practice standards, and regulations.
  • Assist with nurse staffing, including performance evaluations, interviews, and orientation of nurses.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and mentor staff to achieve top-of-license practice.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must:

  • Be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Have a minimum of 3 years of full-time clinical experience, with at least 2 years of experience in nursing supervision in the long-term care setting.
  • Have knowledge of the MDS process, state nurse practice acts, and state and federal regulations.
