Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Director of Nursing to join our team at Magnolia Ridge Center in Gardendale, AL. As a key member of our nursing leadership team, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and achieving positive clinical outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to develop and implement clinical operations strategies that align with our organization's mission and values.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, including performance evaluations, coaching, and mentoring.
  • Assist with nurse staffing, including recruitment, retention, and scheduling.
  • Develop and manage budgets for the nursing department, ensuring effective resource allocation and fiscal responsibility.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging staff to achieve top-of-license practice and providing opportunities for professional growth and development.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Minimum 3 years of full-time clinical experience, with at least 2 years of experience in nursing supervision in the long-term care setting.
  • Knowledge of the Minimum Data Set (MDS) process, state nurse practice acts, and state and federal regulations.
  • On-call availability required.
