We are seeking a highly skilled Paralegal to join our team at Monge & Associates. As an Imminent Domain Paralegal, you will play a critical role in resolving issues related to real estate liens and settlements.
Key Responsibilities- Resolving real estate lien issues and performing title searches, locating deeds, and other liens.
- Communicating with clients, attorneys, lienholders, and co-workers to keep them informed of the status of the case/settlement.
- Performing administrative duties, including disbursements, minor bookkeeping, and settlement registers.
- Drafting deposition notices, discovery requests and responses, lawsuits, and other legal documents.
- Scheduling depositions, trial preparation, court reporters, internal meetings, and meetings with treating physicians/fact witnesses and counsel.
- Managing litigation calendars for attorneys and ensuring compliance with civil litigation timelines, deadlines, and filing procedures.
- 2+ years of litigation experience.
- Self-motivated and proactive, with excellent organization skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to provide "Ritz Carlton Treatment" to clients.
