Dental Hygienist Position Summary

Riccobene Associates Family Dentistry is seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team at our Six Forks office. As a key member of our dental care team, you will work closely with our dentists to provide exceptional patient care and promote oral health.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess patient dental condition and needs through medical history review, dental charting, and perio charting
  • Deliver direct patient care using established dental hygienist procedures
  • Perform routine treatment procedures, such as cleaning and polishing, and take radiographs as needed
  • Apply sealants and fluorides, and maintain accurate electronic records
  • Teach patients proper oral home care and prevention techniques
Requirements:
  • Completed dental hygiene certificate program or Associate's degree in Dental Hygiene
  • Current Hygienist license for the state of North Carolina
  • Ability to demonstrate independent thinking, teamwork, and initiative
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing work assignments and priorities
