**Job Summary:**
The Clinical Nurse II in the Hematology/Oncology unit is responsible for assessing, coordinating, planning, directing, implementing, and managing the needs of assigned patients throughout the care process. This includes delivering and coordinating patient care, ensuring compassionate and competent service, and maintaining patient confidentiality.
**Responsibilities:**
* Deliver high-quality patient care, prioritizing patient needs and ensuring timely interventions
* Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
* Monitor patient progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulatory requirements
**Requirements:**
* Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of New York
* BSN degree from an accredited nursing program
* Minimum of 1 year of experience in a hematology/oncology setting
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
