Job Summary:
Trinity Health is seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist II to join our team. As a CT Technologist II, you will be responsible for performing high-quality CT scans and providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Obtain and record complete clinical histories pertinent to examination requests.
- Evaluate requests for appropriateness and refer concerns to coordinators and/or radiologists.
- Instruct patients on the nature of the exam being performed and effectively communicate information regarding post-procedures.
- Ensure proper radiation protection measures are taken to provide an ALARA environment for patients, coworkers, and self.
- Responsible for understanding the ALARA program and actively participating in dosimetry programs.
- Effectively complete all required documentation related to patient care, imaging procedures, and RIS requirements.
- Demonstrate proper use of positioning devices and other equipment necessary to provide safe, accurate, and complete exams.
- Assist in the instruction of new personnel.
Requirements:
- AAS Degree in Radiologic Technology
- Current ARRT registration, NYS license required, and certification to inject
