Sentara Norfolk General Hospital is seeking an Experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for their Intermediate Care Unit (IMC) in Norfolk, VA. This is a full-time, day shift position with a competitive salary and benefits package.
About the RoleThe Registered Nursing (RN) is responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the IMC unit. The ideal candidate will have previous nursing experience in a hospital setting and a strong understanding of critical care principles. A Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred, but an Associate's degree is required.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in the IMC unit
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices
- Previous nursing experience in a hospital setting
- VA License or multi-state license in good standing
- ADN required, BSN or higher preferred
- Experience in Emergency Dept a plus
