Mental Health Technician Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Technician to join our team at COMHAR, Inc. in Easton, PA. As a Mental Health Technician, you will play a vital role in providing supportive counseling and psychoeducational groups to individuals with serious mental illness.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individual and group counseling services using evidence-based practices and trauma-informed care
  • Implement and monitor treatment plans for clients, including assistance with personal hygiene and ADLs
  • Conduct activities with residents, including educational, social, and leisure programs
  • Document client progress and report any incidents or concerns to Shift Supervisors
  • Participate in meetings and training sessions as assigned
Requirements:
  • AA in human services or related field, plus 2 years of experience in mental health or MR services
  • High school diploma or equivalent, plus 4 years of experience in mental health or ID services
  • Valid driver's license and ability to safely operate a motor vehicle
