Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly qualified Plumber II to become an integral part of our HVAC and Plumbing division. This role involves overseeing plumbing projects, executing advanced installations, conducting repairs, and maintaining plumbing systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of plumbing codes and regulations, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to lead effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and resolve customer plumbing issues promptly and professionally, identifying potential problems to prevent future complications.
  • Maintain and repair plumbing systems, including water, steam, and gas lines, by replacing defective components and clearing blockages.
  • Assemble and install piping systems using various materials and techniques, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
  • Interpret blueprints and specifications to determine installation procedures and material requirements.
  • Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to identify malfunctions and ensure proper functionality.
  • Supervise and direct the work of assistants involved in plumbing installations and repairs.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and ensure tools and equipment are properly accounted for.
  • Stay updated on plumbing regulations and maintain necessary licenses.
  • Promote a safe working environment by adhering to health and safety protocols.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a Plumber I or in a similar plumbing role, with 5-10+ years of experience preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of plumbing codes, regulations, and best practices.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Effective communication and leadership abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Physical stamina and capability to lift heavy materials.
  • Valid driver's license.
