As a Server Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and safe environment for our guests./ppbKey Responsibilities/b/pulliProvide exceptional customer service to our guests, ensuring their dining experience is memorable and enjoyable./liliAssist servers in delivering food items to specific restaurant tables, pre-bussing, refilling drinks, and retrieving other items at the request of the guest./liliAssist kitchen line cooks in assembling plated food items and maintain a clean and sanitary work area to prevent foodborne illnesses./liliPerform cleaning duties, including wiping dining tables, resetting, and cleaning up spills and broken dishes./liliAssist bartenders with stocking items, doing dishes, pre-bussing, cleaning the bar, and taking out the trash./li/ulpbRequirements/b/pulliMust have a service-oriented personality and excellent communication skills./liliMust be flexible to change and able to work varying shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays./liliMust be able to lift up to 50 pounds and continuously move about the facility./li/ulpbWorking Conditions/b/ppThe Server Assistant will work in a fast-paced restaurant environment, frequently moving over wet, slippery floors and surfaces. The ability to hear loud music is not required./ppbCompensation and Benefits/b/ppThe Server Assistant will be compensated at $10.00 per hour, with opportunities for advancement and professional growth within the Wheaton Park District team./p
