Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Specialist to join our team at Southeast LBM Holdco LLC. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the company's accounts receivable, ensuring timely payment from customers, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accounts Receivable Management: Monitor and manage customer accounts to ensure timely payment, identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
  • Credit and Collections: Collect past-due accounts through various means, including mailings, phone calls, and online communications. Collaborate with customers to resolve any issues and ensure timely payment.
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts receivable aging, payment tracking, and credit limit management.
  • Customer Communication: Communicate with customers regarding their accounts, provide updates on payment status, and resolve any issues or concerns.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and analyze financial reports to identify trends and areas for improvement, providing recommendations to management.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, identifying and mitigating any potential risks to the company.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience, with a minimum of 2+ years of credit and collections experience.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Excellent oral and written communication skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to think strategically and work independently.
  • Knowledge and Certifications: Knowledge of all relevant credit laws and regulations, familiarity with credit best practices, and certifications in credit and collections (optional).
