Key Responsibilities
  • Administer direct patient care in accordance with written prescriptions and medical protocols.
  • Submit required documentation and maintain accurate medical records.
  • Monitor patient progress and communicate effectively with Physical Therapists and other healthcare professionals.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a safe and supportive patient care environment.
  • Attend family meetings and conferences as needed to discuss patient welfare and management.
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Current License to practice as a Physical Therapy Assistant in New York State, plus specialized certifications as needed.
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in physical therapy care.
