Job Title: Senior Data Scientist

About the Role:
Caterpillar is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join our team of data experts. As a key member of our analytics team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing machine learning models and solutions to drive business growth and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deploy machine learning models and solutions to drive business growth and innovation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data science into business decision-making.
  • Design and implement data pipelines and architectures to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain statistical and machine learning models to analyze and interpret complex data sets.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements:
  • Master's or Ph.D. degree in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, or a related field.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, R, or other languages.
  • Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
