Data Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop scalable data engineering solutions using AWS cloud operations and serverless application development

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of data systems

Develop and maintain high-quality Python code with strong unit testing and integration testing skills

Work with relational and NoSQL databases, including DynamoDB, to design and implement efficient data models

Requirements:
4-year degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience

3 years or more of experience in software development or data engineering, with a focus on AWS cloud operations and serverless application development

3 years or more of experience with Python, with strong skills in unit testing and integration testing

3 years or more of experience with SQL

Ability to decompose abstract designs into testable software deliverables

Preferred Qualifications:
Relational and NoSQL database design experience (DynamoDB a plus)

Proven Cloud solutioning and architecture experience

Strong knowledge of end-to-end data lifecycle across traditional data warehouses, relational databases, operational data stores,

business intelligence reporting, and big data analytics.

Experience creating conceptual and logical data models

Extract, Transformation, Load (ETL) or ELT development skills

Knowledge of data technology products and components for Big Data and Cloud (AWS, Data Lakes, and similar).

XML and JSON file format knowledge
