Job Summary

Maxim Healthcare Services is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a private duty setting. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional care to our patients and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Planning: Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, ensuring the highest level of quality and safety.
  • Signs and Symptoms: Identify and interpret signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient's condition, making informed decisions to adjust care plans accordingly.
  • Data Collection and Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret data from healthcare members to identify actual and potential nursing diagnoses, documenting findings and developing effective care plans.
  • Plan of Care: Develop and implement a comprehensive plan of care using identified nursing diagnoses, expected patient outcomes, and selected nursing interventions, ensuring seamless communication with the healthcare team.
  • Interventions and Revisions: Perform interventions according to identified priorities, plan of care, and hospital policies, revising the plan as needed to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Clinical Judgment: Utilize clinical judgment in evaluation activities to meet patient care needs, establishing priorities and making informed decisions to ensure the best possible outcomes.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Perform other Registered Nurse duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of our team.
Requirements
  • Current Registration: Hold a current Registered Nurse license for the state in which you practice.
  • Health Certificate: Possess a current Health Certificate, as required by facility contract or state regulation.
  • PPD or Chest X-Ray: Have a current PPD or Chest X-Ray, as required by facility contract or state regulation.
  • BLS Certification: Hold a current BLS card, demonstrating proficiency in basic life support skills.
  • Experience: One year of prior Registered Nurse experience is preferred, but not required.
Skills and Schedule
  • Specialized Skills: Possess skills in G-tube, Trach, and Adult care, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care.
  • Schedule: Be available to work a variety of shifts, including full-time, part-time, and PRN positions, with a focus on day shifts from 7am-7pm, Sunday-Saturday.
