Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have a strong background in Florida civil procedure, evidence, and trial strategy, with excellent written and oral advocacy skills. They will be well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to independently manage a caseload with time-sensitive deadlines. The position is a hybrid role, requiring a combination of in-office and remote work.

We are looking for a candidate with a J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school, an active license to practice law in Florida, and a strong track record of success in insurance defense or civil litigation. Experience with jury trials, discovery, depositions, and hearings is highly desirable. Strong automation and technological skills, including proficiency in Word, Outlook, and Westlaw, are also essential.

Qualifications
  • J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
  • Active license to practice law in Florida
  • 3+ years of legal experience
  • Insurance defense experience preferred
  • Jury trial experience in civil or criminal law
  • Strong written and oral advocacy skills
  • Fluency in Spanish a plus
  • Eligible to work in the U.S. immediately
