Position Summary:

The Leasing Agent plays a crucial role in the leasing and promotional activities of our residential community. This position is essential in assisting the Community Manager to ensure the operational and financial success of the property while exceeding the expectations of our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial and Marketing Goals: Collaborate with the Community Manager to meet occupancy and rental targets. Maintain a closing ratio of at least 30%. Engage potential residents through effective advertising and respond promptly to inquiries and property tours.
  • Operational Management: Support the Community Manager in the daily operations of the community, fostering positive relationships with residents, addressing complaints, and managing rent collections. In the absence of the Community Manager, oversee and motivate the team to achieve collective objectives.
  • Property Maintenance: Ensure the property is consistently maintained to high standards. Conduct daily inspections of both exterior and interior areas to uphold cleanliness, safety, and overall appeal.
  • Customer Engagement: Strive to exceed company standards for resident satisfaction. Be available for emergency situations as scheduled and actively participate in community events and initiatives.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other responsibilities as assigned to support the overall success of the community.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Education: A high school diploma or GED is required; further education is preferred.
  • Experience: 2-3 years of experience in customer service or a related field.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 40 pounds.

Driving Requirements:

  • Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain an acceptable driving record.
  • Reliable transportation is necessary.
  • Must be insurable at standard rates for driving purposes.
  • Proof of personal auto liability insurance is required when using a vehicle for company-related activities.

All candidates will undergo a thorough background check and drug screening as part of the hiring process.
