Job Title: Assistant Property Manager

HH Red Stone Properties is seeking an experienced Assistant Property Manager to join our team in Kansas City, MO. As a key member of our property management team, you will play a vital role in overseeing all aspects of property operations, including leasing, accounts payable and receivable, service requests, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor collections, accept and post rental payments to resident ledgers, and enforce collection policies based on the Lease Agreement.
  • Perform the entire cycle of apartment leasing duties, including giving tours to prospective residents, executing lease paperwork, processing applications, and maintaining records to the required standards.
  • Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly and professionally to resident concerns and actively participate in conflict resolution efforts to maintain positive resident relations.
  • Assist the Property Manager in all aspects of residential management, including service requests, maintaining physical asset standards, financial accounting and reporting, and resident relations.
  • Collaborate with the Leasing Team to coordinate resident retention efforts.
  • Monitor the flow of accounts payable from purchase orders to invoices.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Certificates, licenses, and registrations: Fair Housing Certification, or willingness to obtain prior to interacting with prospective residents.
  • Required computer skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Property Management Software (OneSite/Real Page preferred).
  • Other required skills: 3-5 years of experience in Customer Service or 1-3 years of experience in Residential Property Management.
