Job Summary:

KBR's Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) group is seeking an experienced Instrumentation & Controls Supervisor to support the Plaquemines project, a multi-billion-dollar Liquid Natural Gas export facility. The successful candidate will oversee the testing of safety-related control systems, including Fire & Gas, FACPs, ESD, SIL, and SIF Loops. They will also instruct and direct Instrument technicians to accomplish loop checks and ensure the completion of systems and sub-systems for Substantial Completion / RFSU.

Responsibilities:

  • Organize test teams to meet completion priorities
  • Assist with overseeing the testing of safety-related control systems
  • Hands-on experience with Hazardous Area regulations
  • Instruct and direct Instrument technicians
  • Participate in completion system walkdowns and progress meetings
  • Follow-up on effective sign-off of field-generated punch lists
  • Assist with daily risk assessments and permits

Requirements:

  • Large-scale ICSS interfacing to multiple package equipment vendors
  • Knowledge of PLCs and detailed design engineering processes
  • Proficiency with MS Office and database access
  • Experience with GTGs, package compressor systems, and Power Management Systems
  • Electronic completion system experience
  • Required project experience within the LNG industry
