Job Description:
As a Surveyor Technician at Bechtel Corporation, you will supervise and train Surveyor Assistants to ensure the successful completion of geospatial operations. Key responsibilities include working outdoors in various weather conditions, performing layouts in accordance with Bechtel Surveying Procedures, and collecting survey data. Additionally, you will mark points of measurement, stake and grade for excavation, and operate survey instruments to obtain data. Effective communication with Field Engineers and Supervisors is crucial, as is adhering to safety procedures and reviewing design drawings for accuracy.
