Job Title: Project Research Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Project Research Coordinator to join our team at the University of Arkansas. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to manage and lead efforts to transform the culture and address inequities within the field of landscape ecology.

Job Summary:

The Project Research Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating research projects, managing data, and communicating with stakeholders. This is a standard twelve-month staff appointment supported by a recent award by the National Science Foundation (NSF) BIO LEAPS Program to the University of Arkansas.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate research projects, including data collection, analysis, and reporting
  • Communicate with stakeholders, including researchers, students, and community members
  • Develop and implement project plans, timelines, and budgets
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals
  • Provide administrative support to the research team
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in ecology, geography, or related field
  • Working knowledge of project management software and tools
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Experience in science outreach and communication
Preferred Qualifications:
  • EID certification or experience directly related to the NSF grant goals and requirements
  • Outreach and/or publications on diversity as it pertains to Landscape Ecology or other organizations in life sciences
  • Experience working and reporting of NSF awards
  • Qualitative and quantitative methodological expertise of survey and data analyses
