Chartwells Higher Education is on the lookout for a Marketing Intern to support our initiatives aimed at enhancing the student dining experience. This role presents a unique opportunity to collaborate with our Marketing Manager in developing and executing tailored marketing strategies for campus dining services, with a focus on increasing revenue, guest satisfaction, and promoting the dining brand through innovative events and initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist campus dining locations in implementing marketing promotions, meal plan campaigns, events, catering, and retail sales initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with Chartwells' brand standards across all dining programs, including visual merchandising and guest experience.
- Support public relations and communication efforts for dining services, managing guest feedback, press releases, and website updates.
- Contribute to social media and digital marketing efforts by creating engaging content.
- Help formulate and execute marketing plans, assess their effectiveness, and report on outcomes.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key campus stakeholders to align our programs with university initiatives.
- Collaborate on projects related to sustainability, nutritional awareness, and enhancing the dining experience.
- Assist in producing marketing materials such as brochures, newsletters, and promotional guides.
- Currently enrolled at Connecticut College.
- Experience in digital and print design.
- Creative, driven, and possess an engaging personality.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups.
- Knowledge of key performance indicators and experience in data analysis.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong writing and communication skills.
