Job Summary

We're seeking highly motivated and diverse Civil Engineering Interns to join our Summer 2025 intern program out of our Virginia Beach, VA office. This is a paid full-time position with the potential to transition into a Full-Time role upon graduation.

Responsibilities

  • Support civil engineer design tasks, including sheet setup, drafting in Civil 3D, and proposal development.
  • Support site layout and grading, utility design, cost estimates, and stormwater management.
  • Assist in the preparation of civil construction drawings and specifications.
  • Utilize software such as AutoCAD, HydroCAD, PondPack, Bluebeam, and Microsoft products.
  • Perform other related duties and responsibilities as necessary.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a Bachelor or Associate Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Solid technical and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
  • Honest, fun, hard-working, and ready to learn and grow.

Compensation

In accordance with local law, the salary range for this position is $24.00 per hour. Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company's annual Discretionary Bonus Program, contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators.
