Job Summary:

The Part Time Manager In Training is responsible for assisting the Store Manager in controlling the assets of Hibbett Sports and ensuring the overall success of the store. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, promoting merchandise, and maintaining a high level of sales and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Store Manager in establishing action plans to accomplish departmental and overall store responsibilities.
  • Consult with the Store Manager to determine the methods and approaches necessary to achieve store goals and initiatives.
  • Uphold policies, procedures, and standards listed in the visual manual.
  • Provide knowledge and guidance to employees and customers in all departments.
  • Direct staff to ensure each department's responsibilities and standards are completed.
  • Keep the Store Manager informed about inventory movement and customer trends.
  • Assure quality customer service is maintained.
  • Perform general administrative duties as needed.
Requirements:
  • Experience working in a retail environment, preferably in footwear and athletic apparel.
  • 1-3 years of customer service experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to assist in managing a team and keep up with overall goals and profits.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

The Part Time Manager In Training will supervise employees in the absence of the Store Manager and carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.

Qualifications:

Candidates should have a passion for outstanding customer service and selling merchandise. They should be a self-starter with initiative to take on important tasks without being asked.
