Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, including OCIP programs, to ensure accurate and timely processing of renewals, new business, and claims.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, carriers, and internal stakeholders to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Partner with Sales Executives to develop and implement sales strategies, including participating in client meetings and carrier meetings.
  • Create professional proposals and renewal summaries using agency management systems.
  • Review and verify all documents for accuracy and completeness.
  • Run reports and distribute weekly and monthly OCIP portal updates to clients and carriers.
  • Process renewal of contractors and jobs in the OCIP portal, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Maintain insurance cost worksheets in the OCIP portal for contractors.
  • Perform daily tasks to follow up on required items from contractors, including reminders to report payroll, close out jobs, and add subcontractors.
  • Upkeep of daily new enrollments, reaching out for required items to complete, and reporting to carriers immediately to add to the program.
  • Communicate professionally and effectively with account leads, contractors, and other stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Insurance and OCIP knowledge with comfort in discussing coverage and OCIP information with underwriters, insureds, and contractors.
  • Knowledge of policy rates, exposures, and calculations for construction and contractors.
  • Strong PC skills, with the ability to effectively utilize agency management systems, the OCIP portal, Microsoft software products, and carrier resources.
  • Strong commitment to work independently within an extremely fast-paced, changing environment and needs of the OCIP contractors.
  • Pro-active, with the initiative to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively, both verbally and in writing.
