The Faith Regional Physician Services team is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mental Health Specialist to join our Behavioral Health Unit. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional psychiatric care to patients from diverse backgrounds.

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced professional who can work collaboratively with attending psychiatrists to deliver comprehensive inpatient and consultation psychiatric services. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting thorough clinical evaluations, developing targeted treatment plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest level of patient care.

  • Conduct comprehensive clinical evaluations and develop tailored treatment plans for patients with complex mental health needs.">

  • Demonstrate empathy and understanding when interacting with patients, families, and colleagues.">

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • A graduate degree in nursing or a related field (e.g., DNP, NP, or PA).">
  • Current licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA).">
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.">
  • At least one year of experience in psychiatric care, preferably in an inpatient setting.">
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.">
  • A strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.">
