Park Aide (Seasonal) Job Description

Join the State of California team as a Park Aide (Seasonal) and contribute to the preservation of the state's natural and cultural resources. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional visitor services, maintaining park facilities, and ensuring the overall quality of our parks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide excellent customer service to park visitors, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Assist with park operations, including maintenance, repairs, and upkeep of facilities, trails, and equipment.
  • Support visitor services, including registration, information dissemination, and sales of park-related merchandise.
  • Collaborate with park staff to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for visitors.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall mission of the State of California.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and work in a variety of weather conditions.
  • Valid California driver's license required.
