Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Supervisor to lead our team of technicians in maintaining and repairing our equipment. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our production lines and maintaining a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct and supervise the work of technicians in electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment
  • Supervise work assignments and personnel performance of staff technicians, including hiring, training, and evaluating staff
  • Assist workers in diagnosing malfunctions in machinery and equipment and direct workers engaged in dismantling, assembling, and installing industrial machinery
  • Requisition and maintain a supply of spare parts and modify programming of robots and related equipment
  • Study production schedules and estimate worker-hour requirements for completion of job assignments and interpret company policies for workers and enforce safety regulations
  • Establish or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules and enforce a safe workplace by supervising all tasks performed in accordance with O.S.H.A., E.P.A., F.D.A., Food Safety, Lock-out/Tag-out safety rules, codes policies, and regulations, and Confined Entry policies
Requirements
  • A high school diploma or GED is required; BA/BS degree in Engineering or related field preferred
  • 5 years of supervisory experience in a food manufacturing plant environment
  • Strong industrial electrical knowledge in motor control, VFD, and PLC
  • Additional mechanical, welding, refrigeration, and plumbing knowledge preferred
