Ochsner Health is in search of a Board Certified/Board Eligible Clinical Psychologist to enhance our Oncology services. As a prominent integrated healthcare system, Ochsner Health employs over 36,000 individuals and collaborates with more than 4,600 physicians across various medical specialties.
Position Overview:
The selected candidate will work within the Department of Psychiatry, focusing exclusively on oncology at the St. Tammany Cancer Center. A Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology (or equivalent) from an APA-accredited program is required, along with licensure or eligibility for licensure in Louisiana. Completion of internship training at an APA-approved site is also necessary.
This role entails close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, including those specializing in Lung Cancer, Head & Neck Cancer, and Neuro-oncology, to deliver essential psychosocial support. Additionally, the psychologist will engage with Pediatric Hematology-Oncology professionals and contribute to the Palliative Oncology Team.
