Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a dedicated Clinical Psychologist to enhance our Department of Psychiatry, specifically focusing on oncology within the St. Tammany Cancer Center. The ideal candidate will possess a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology (or equivalent) from an APA-accredited institution and must be licensed or eligible for licensure in Louisiana. Completion of internship training at an APA-approved site is also required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams specializing in Lung Cancer, Head & Neck Cancer, and Neuro-oncology to deliver essential psychosocial support.
- Engage with Pediatric Hematology-Oncology professionals and work alongside the Palliative Oncology Team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
