Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform in-process and final source inspections, including First Article inspections per AS9102 Quality Standards
  • Read and understand complex engineering drawings, specifications, geometric dimensioning and tolerances per ANSI/ ASME Y 14.5
  • Perform mechanical measurement for verifying the compliance of complex machined, formed, and assembled aircraft/engine components
  • Electrical and electronics skills, including electromechanical and general electronic skills

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in aerospace quality inspection or related field
  • Ability to read and understand complex engineering drawings and specifications
  • Strong mechanical measurement skills
  • Electrical and electronics skills, including electromechanical and general electronic skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • IPC certification in JSTD001 Solder Inspection
  • NASA specification knowledge in Polymerics

Working Conditions:

  • Part-time assignment
  • Estimated length of each visit: 6 hours per visit
  • W2 contract position to work on an as-needed basis
