Housekeeping Specialist

About the Role:

The Housekeeping Specialist is a key member of our facilities team at Davis Development, responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our properties. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare properties for new residents by ensuring all areas are clean and tidy.
• Manage and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, reporting any discrepancies to the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Utilize aseptic techniques and safety precautions when performing cleaning duties.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all necessary supplies and equipment are readily available.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and colleagues, maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor.

Requirements:

• One or more years of experience in multifamily housekeeping or a related field.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with general and departmental safety requirements.
• Ability to lift tools, equipment, and other items (approximately 30 lbs).
• Ability to climb ladders safely.
