Job Title: Midwife Supervisor

Northside Hospital is a leading healthcare provider in Atlanta, seeking a skilled Midwife Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our midwifery department, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations, ensuring high-quality patient care, and leading a team of midwives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of midwives, ensuring efficient and effective patient care.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve patient outcomes and departmental performance.
  • Collaborate with medical staff, administrators, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Recruit, train, and evaluate midwives to ensure the department is staffed with qualified professionals.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of departmental goals and objectives.
Requirements:
  • MSN degree and current licensure in the state of Georgia as an advanced practice nurse.
  • Current certification by the American College of Nurse Midwives.
  • 3 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 1 year of leadership experience in a healthcare setting.
