Northside Hospital is a leading healthcare provider in Atlanta, seeking a skilled Midwife Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our midwifery department, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations, ensuring high-quality patient care, and collaborating with our medical staff to achieve exceptional outcomes.

• Supervise and coordinate the work of midwife staff, ensuring efficient and effective patient care.
• Develop and implement advanced practice protocols for specific patient populations, in collaboration with medical staff.
• Prepare and monitor midwife staff schedules, making adjustments as needed to ensure optimal coverage.
• Collaborate with service line and department leadership to address clinical and operational issues, and implement improvements.
• Recruit, hire, and evaluate midwife staff, ensuring they meet the hospital's Mission and Values statement.
• Communicate regularly with department midwives to keep them informed of important information and hospital-wide initiatives.
• Represent midwife staff at meetings and on committees, as assigned.
• Participate in department Quality Improvement activities.

• MSN degree required.
• 3 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
• Current licensure in the state of Georgia as an advanced practice nurse, and certification by the American College of Nurse Midwives.
• Knowledge of professional nursing theory, clinical practice standards, and nurse midwifery practice.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
