• Collaborate with medical staff to design and implement advanced practice protocols for specific patient populations.
• Oversee compliance with approved protocols and ensure seamless communication between midwife staff and physicians.
• Prepare and monitor midwife staff schedules, making adjustments as needed to ensure optimal departmental performance.
• Recruit, hire, and evaluate midwives, ensuring they align with the hospital's Mission and Values statement.
• Represent midwife staff at meetings and committees, fostering effective communication and collaboration.
• Participate in departmental Quality Improvement activities, driving excellence in patient care.

• 3 years of nursing experience
• Knowledge of professional nursing theory, clinical practice standards, and nurse midwifery practice
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to use sensory and cognitive functions to process and prioritize information
