IT Project Manager

Della Infotech seeks an experienced IT Project Manager to oversee various initiatives and projects, ensuring timely completion and client satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in IT project management, including enterprise-level technology initiatives. Key responsibilities include defining projects, engaging stakeholders, and conducting project planning exercises. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and diplomacy skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and manage conflict. A Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field is required, along with seven years of experience as a project lead. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus. The IT Project Manager will lead projects for critical initiatives such as Enterprise system upgrades, Data Center Modernization efforts, software implementations, and other innovative projects. The role is full-time, 40 hours/week, and reports directly to the Project Portfolio Manager. The ideal candidate will have recent large-scale Asset Management systems experience with upgrades or conversions, as well as experience in IT program or project management. Excellent customer service and business relationship communication skills are essential. The IT Project Manager will work closely with the Project Management Office (PMO) division in the ITS department, which is led by a Deputy Chief Information Officer. The position requires the ability to be on-site as required by the project needs and project team activities. The successful candidate will be an integral part of the modernization initiatives at Della Infotech.
