Job SummaryWe are seeking a compassionate and patient Caregiver - Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our team. As a DSP, you will provide support and care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping them to achieve their goals and live fulfilling lives.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including assistance with daily living activities, personal care, and behavioral support.
- Develop and implement individualized support plans to help participants achieve their goals and live independently.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care and support.
- Provide a safe and supportive environment for participants, promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
- Document participant progress and provide regular updates to supervisors and family members.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 6 months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
- Valid Driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
