POSITION SUMMARY:

As a part-time therapist at Council for Relationships Inc, you will be classified as a W-2, fee-for-service professional. Our therapists are adept clinicians dedicated to delivering outstanding therapeutic services, fulfilling all necessary documentation and administrative responsibilities, while also engaging in personal caseload development and marketing efforts. The role offers flexibility, allowing therapists to establish their own schedules and fee structures. You will report directly to the Office Director and the Director of Clinical Services.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide high-quality therapeutic services that adhere to ethical standards, established professional guidelines, and HIPAA regulations, while being accountable to peer review.
  • Comply with Council's clinical policies, procedures, and protocols.
  • Utilize the practice management software provided by Council.
  • Uphold the highest standards of professional practice, ensuring timely completion of client case files and maintaining client confidentiality.
  • Participate in group clinical supervision sessions.
  • Attend monthly staff meetings as scheduling permits.
  • Engage in monthly clinical specialty group meetings as scheduling allows.
  • Meet established monthly clinical productivity benchmarks.
  • Keep an updated profile on the Council's website.
  • Contribute written content for internal and external communications and marketing initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master's or doctoral degree in marriage and family therapy, psychology, social work, or a related mental health discipline.
  • Licensed or in the process of obtaining licensure (unlicensed therapists must work under supervision, which can be provided in-house at a nominal fee until licensure is achieved).
  • Demonstrated excellent clinical skills and competencies.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • A minimum of two years of direct clinical experience, particularly in couples and family therapy.
  • Clinical membership in AAMFT, with an Approved Supervisor designation is preferred.

COMPENSATION STRUCTURE:

Therapists receive a variable percentage (50%-65%) of the fees they charge for services rendered.
